About Andrew K. Tsui

Why do I think this blog is important?

Other than the obvious, my intent is to nurture a brainstorming session of sorts. Similar to how ideation workshops explore any and all ideas, my focus is on taking the established body of convention, tradition, and way-of-working, and re-thinking how things are done.

I like to ask questions such as

  • Why should we do [arbitrary action/topic/process] this way? Why not [any alternative]?
  • What should we really focus on instead of [arbitrary output]? Instead, we can look at [any alternative] for a richer analysis…
  • How can we make things better for the user (producer, consumer, intermediary)?
